SEN TEACHING ASSISTANT

Are you looking for rewarding work within a classroom environment? Could you make a positive difference to the lives of young people? Do you have experience of working with young people or adults with special needs?

We are currently recruiting for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a mainstream school in Maghull catering for students displaying challenging behaviour.

This particular school is ideally looking for a TA who is experienced at working with young people who have various Special Educational Needs such as:

•            Autism

•            ADHD

•            Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties

•            Learning Difficulties

The Teaching Assistant should have knowledge and understanding of:

•            the needs of young children;

•            child development and the ways in which children learn;

•            the roles played by various adults in a child’s education;

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
