SEN Teaching Assistant
Job description
Teaching Personnel are working closely with a school in the Enfield area as they require a SEN Teaching Assistant to support a range of needs. These needs can include but aren’t limited to Autism, Social Emotional Mental Health needs and challenging behaviour.
The school are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to support those who present challenging behaviours.
The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant would have:
- Previous experience supporting challenging behaviour.
- Passion for working with young people.
- A proactive personality.
- The ability to gain positive, trustworthy, relationships with pupils.
The SEN TA role would involve supporting the young pupils both 1:1 and within the classroom environment alongside providing emotional support. In addition to this it would consist of supporting teachers during lessons with the ability to de-escalate volatile situations. For this role the rate of pay will be between £90 and £100 per day depending on your levels of experience.
All applicants will be subject to background checks and will need a current Enhanced DBS certificate (update service registered). Teaching Personnel can support your application should this be required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
