SEN Teaching Assistant – Small Primary School in Litherland, Liverpool
Start date: March 2026
Contract: Full-time, long‑term (with potential to become permanent)

Salary: £13.75 - £15.55 per hour

A welcoming and nurturing small primary school in the heart of Litherland is seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team and support pupils across EYFS and KS1 who require additional help.
About the Role
As the school’s SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide 1:1 and small‑group support for pupils with SEND (including ASD, SEMH, SLCN and learning delays).
- Work closely with the SENCO and class teacher to deliver tailored interventions.
- Help create an inclusive, positive learning environment where every child can succeed.
- Support emotional regulation, communication development, and personalised targets.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, staff and families.
