Monday to Friday, 8:45am - 3:30pm

We are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming primary school in Kirkham seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis. This rewarding role will involve supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs, helping them to access learning, develop confidence, and thrive within a positive school environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Providing tailored support to pupils with Special Educational Needs.
• Assisting children during lessons to help them remain engaged and on task.
• Working closely with teachers to adapt learning activities where required.
• Supporting pupils' social, emotional, and communication development.
• Encouraging independence and celebrating individual achievements.
• Contributing to a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.

Who We're Looking For

• Previous experience supporting children in a classroom setting is essential.
• Experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable.
• A patient, caring, and resilient approach to supporting pupils.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Teaching Assistant qualifications are welcomed but not essential.
