Job description

Teaching Assistants – King’s Lynn | Location: King’s Lynn | Start: ASAP or after half-term | Contract: Full time, Temp to Perm

We are recruiting 2–3 full-time SEN Teaching Assistants for a supportive school in the King’s Lynn area. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with children who have special educational needs between the ages of 4-19, providing tailored support to help them reach their potential.

The Role

  • Work full-time, Monday to Friday, within a welcoming school environment
  • Support pupils with a range of additional learning needs
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support, adapting to individual requirements
  • Assist teachers in creating a positive, inclusive and safe classroom environment
  • Be flexible and willing to support across different classes where needed

About You

  • Experience supporting children with SEN (school or care setting) desirable
  • Calm, patient and nurturing approach
  • Adaptable, reliable and confident working as part of a team
  • Committed to making a positive difference in pupils’ learning and development
  • Enhanced Child-only DBS (willing to apply if not obtained)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
