Key Responsibilities

Deliver dedicated 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN, tailoring assistance to individual needs

Facilitate learning and engagement during lessons, breaks, and lunchtimes
-
Collaborate with class teachers to implement daily educational activities and classroom management
-
Maintain a safe, organized, and stimulating classroom environment
-
Promote an inclusive, respectful, and positive atmosphere for all students

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

Experience or transferable skills in working with children with SEN (preferred but not essential)

A strong commitment to the welfare and development of young people

Patience, reliability, and a proactive, solution-focused approach

Willingness to obtain or hold an Enhanced DBS certificate (registered on the Update Service)

Permanent UK residency (essential)

Recruitment Process and Compliance
All successful applicants will be subject to safer recruitment protocols, including:

Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (arranged via Teaching Personnel if needed)

Provision of two professional references covering the last 24 months
-
Overseas Police Check, if applicable (for candidates who have lived outside the UK for 6+ months in the past 5 years)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.

We undertake safeguarding checks on all workers in accordance with DfE statutory guidance ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ this may also include an online search as part of our due diligence on shortlisted applicants.
