✨ SEN Teaching Assistant – Northampton ✨
Location: Dunstable/Luton
Pay: £90–£100 per day (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:30am–3:30pm (approx.)
Type: Full-time, Term-time only


Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Whether you’ve worked in a school before or you have transferable experience working with children or vulnerable individuals — we want to hear from you!

Your Role Will Include:

  • Supporting students with SEN in class and during break/lunch times

  • Creating a safe, inclusive, and positive learning space

  • Assisting the class teacher with activities and classroom management

  • Encouraging independence and emotional well-being

  • Helping to keep resources and equipment well-organised and safe


What We’re Looking For:

  • A genuine passion for working with children – essential

  • Initiative and a proactive attitude – essential

  • Experience working with SEN children – advantageous but not essential

  • A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

  • UK residency – we can only accept applicants currently living in the UK

Please Note:

As part of our safeguarding procedures, all applicants must:

  • Have an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or be willing to apply)

  • Provide 2 recent references (covering the past 24 months)

  • Complete an overseas police check if you've lived abroad for 6+ months in the past 5 years

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
