Role Overview
As an SEN Teacher, you will:
-
Deliver tailored teaching to pupils with SEN in the classroom and during break/lunchtime activities
-
Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
-
Plan and implement individualized learning programmes in collaboration with support staff and therapists
-
Monitor and assess pupils’ progress, adapting teaching strategies as necessary
-
Maintain classroom resources to ensure a safe and organized environment
-
Work closely with teaching assistants to support pupils’ learning and behaviour
Ideal Candidate
-
Previous experience working with children with SEN is desirable but not essential
-
Hold a valid DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply
-
Demonstrate genuine passion and drive to work with children
-
Confident in using own initiative to actively engage and support pupils

Recruitment Process

Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (can be arranged through Teaching Personnel)

Two recent employment references covering the last 24 months

Overseas criminal record check for those who have lived outside the UK for 6 months or more within the last 5 years

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
