SEN Teaching Assistant

Date posted : 24/10/19
£9.50 - 9.55 per hour

Job description

This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...

Teaching Personnel have a high demand for specialist Teaching Assistants across Lancashire.

We currently work with a number of SEN schools who require specialist support for their pupils, ranging in ages from 4-18.

Our busiest schools are in Burnley, Blackburn, Preston, Chorley and Skelmersdale but as previously mentioned, we cover the whole of Lancashire and are always looking for confident individuals with a passion for supporting young people.

Are you seeking a new challenge? Do you have experience or an interest in supporting young people with SEN including Autism, Complex Needs, Social Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties, Physical Difficulties, Down Syndrome, ADHD, Global Learning Delay etc? If so, we have an excellent opportunity for you! Working with Teaching Personnel can open doors to a permanent job, based on the client relationships we have with our schools. Here at Teaching Personnel we are committed to finding you a long-term / permanent role and do so by sending your profile to a high number of schools (within an ideal travelling radius of your home) and by providing day-to-day supply opportunities which expose you to schools and allow for you to showcase yourself in order to secure a permanent position. This is an excellent way of securing a role, as opposed to simply sending your CV to a school for a role, as it gives you direct access to the school and allows you to prove that you are an excellent candidate for their environment!

We work in partnership with a number of schools who use us specifically for their permanent recruitment and this could be an excellent opportunity to secure your next role.

Opportunities are on a full-time basis and we work with you to ascertain your perfect role!

Please send a copy of your CV ASAP if you wish to be considered for SEN Teaching Assistant roles.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see teachingpersonnel.com/faqs for details.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.

Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
