SEN Teaching Assistant

A fantastic Primary school located in the heart of Cambridge are looking for a dedicated, experienced and passionate  teaching assistant to take on a full-time, 1:1 specialised support role for a pupil with complex medical needs. The position is set to take place in October 2020, and the school are looking to skype/telephone interview in the coming weeks given the current climate.

‘The right candidate will be working closely in a team around the child to ensure the best possible opportunities are given. If the child is too unwell to be in school, there is the possibility that some academic support may have to be provided in the home. Full comprehensive training would be provided and ongoing support will be available to the successful candidate’.

Ideal Candidates will have:

• The ability to build good relationships with pupils, colleagues as well as parents and carers.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team, but also as an individual
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Patience and a good sense of humour

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
