Teaching personnel are delighted to announce that we are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant for a primary school located in the East of Cambridge with an immediate start and the potential to be full time.

The role would involve supporting a KS2 pupil with SEMH on a 1:1 basis, therefore 1:1 SEN experience would be essential in a candidate. You would be supporting the pupil throughout the day in completing their daily activities, this would include but may not be limited to, behavioural guidance, monitoring of development and progress, assisting the pupil in building relationships with members of staff and other pupils.

The ideal candidate:

• Experience with SEN
• Fully qualified Teaching Assistant
• Knowledge of the UK curriculum
• Experience working with pupils on a 1:1 basis
• Has a DBS on the update service (or willing to acquire  one through Teaching Personnel)
• UK address and right to work
• A hard working attitude to all aspect of work
