Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Secondary SEN School in Bury, supporting students aged 11-19 with a range of additional needs.
This rewarding role involves helping students overcome barriers to learning, develop confidence and independence, and achieve their full potential in a supportive educational environment.
Your Responsibilities
⭐ Support students on a 1:1 and small group basis
⭐ Encourage engagement and participation in lessons
⭐ Support social, emotional, and communication development
⭐ Provide personal care where required with dignity and respect
⭐ Promote independence and self-confidence
⭐ Help create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment

✔ Has experience working with young people, within SEN settings, or in a care-based role
✔ Is passionate about supporting students with additional needs
✔ Has strong communication and teamwork skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
