SEN Teaching Assistant

Teacher – SEMH Secondary School (North Manchester)

We are currently recruiting a Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated team within a North Manchester SEN Primary School.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the teacher and the students at a SEN school, anticipating and fulfilling the needs of students with varied additional/ complex needs. The school’s core purpose is to support every child to develop their unique strengths and personality in a safe, nurturing, and welcoming environment.

Essential Requirements

• Experience working with vulnerable adults or children.
• Full availability during school hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm.

Preferred but Not Essential

• Experience being a teaching assistant working with SEN students.
• Strong behaviour management skills
• A proactive, resilient, and nurturing approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
