Opportunity to gain experience supporting students who have Special Educational Needs.

  • Full time SEN Teaching Assistant role.
  • To start ASAP on a long-term basis.
  • Working in a newly established SEN department within a large Secondary school in Bury.
  • Earn up to £1700 per week, depending on previous experience.
  • Supporting identified pupils with daily school life alongside their academic studies.
  • Monitor pupils’ process and record any significant improvements in students’ behaviour or academic achievement.
  • Access to multiple CPD training courses from partner Secondary and SEN schools.

Application requirements

  • You must have direct experience supporting children and young people.
  • Any direct experience supporting pupils with SEN is desirable.
  • Must have a strong understanding of how to support specific SEN.

Located near Bury, our client secondary school can easily be accessed via the M62 and the A56 from the surrounding areas such as Prestwich, Heywood and Whitefield. For non-drivers, there are several public transportation links that lead directly to the school from areas such as Rochdale and Bolton.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
