Teaching Assistant – Full-Time Opportunities in Rochdale
Start Date: As Soon As Possible

We are currently seeking compassionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated individuals for full-time Teaching Assistant roles across Rochdale. These positions offer a fantastic opportunity to support students—particularly those with Special Educational Needs (SEN)—in a positive, inclusive, and nurturing educational environment.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students who need additional guidance in their learning journey. If you have experience working with SEN students and a genuine passion for helping young people thrive, we’d love to hear from you.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver 1:1 support and lead small group interventions.

  • Assist in planning and delivering differentiated lessons.

  • Encourage academic, social, and emotional development.

  • Keep accurate records of student progress and behaviour.

  • Passion for working with children and young people, particularly those with SEN.

  • Patience, empathy, and a resilient, positive attitude.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • A proactive, adaptable approach to the school day.

  • Residency in or ability to commute to Rochdale.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
