Location: Bournemouth
Pay: £89.38 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm

Are you looking for a Teaching Assistant role in Bournemouth? Whether you want full-time, part-time, or flexible work, Teaching Personnel would love to hear from you! We work with a range of mainstream primary schools across Bournemouth and are recruiting passionate, reliable, and adaptable Teaching Assistants.

This role involves supporting teachers and pupils in the classroom across EYFS, KS1, and KS2. You may help with group activities, individual learning, classroom preparation, or provide 1:1 support for children with additional needs. Adaptability, patience, and reliability are essential.

No previous experience as a Teaching Assistant is required, although experience working with children is desirable. If you’re enthusiastic, approachable, and want to make a real difference, this could be the perfect role for you.


Ideal Candidate:

  • Enthusiastic, reliable, and proactive

  • Able to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents

  • Confident supporting small groups or individual pupils

  • Works well as part of a team and contributes ideas

  • Flexible and adaptable to different classrooms and year groups


Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce) – Teaching Personnel can help

  • Experience working with children (desirable)

  • Commitment to learning and professional development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
