1–1 SEN Teaching Assistant – Full Time
Dorset, Bournemouth | Mainstream Primary School

At Teaching Personnel, we are proud to be working in partnership with one of our welcoming mainstream primary schools in Bournemouth who are looking to appoint a full-time 1–1 SEN Teaching Assistant.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced SEN TA to provide dedicated, consistent support to a pupil on a 1–1 basis, helping them access learning and feel confident within the classroom environment.

The Role:

  • Full-time position (Monday–Friday)

  • Providing tailored 1–1 support for a child with SEN

  • Working collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCO

  • Supporting academic progress, emotional regulation and social development

  • Implementing individual education plans and behaviour strategies

We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience supporting children with SEN (essential)

  • A patient, nurturing and resilient approach

  • Strong behaviour management skills

  • Confidence in adapting learning to meet individual needs

  • A genuine passion for supporting children to succeed

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
