Job description

Teaching Assistants – Full Time & Part Time
Location: Bournemouth - January 2026

We are currently seeking experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work across a variety of our partner Primary Schools in Bournemouth. We support a wide range of mainstream settings and are looking for enthusiastic individuals who can make a positive impact in the classroom.

About the Role:

  • Opportunities for both full-time and part-time placements

  • Supporting pupils across KS1 and KS2, either 1:1 or within small groups

  • Assisting class teachers with daily activities, lesson preparation, and classroom management

  • Helping to create an inclusive, engaging learning environment

  • Working within supportive school teams who value collaboration and pupil wellbeing

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience working with children is essential, ideally within a school or educational setting

  • A patient, proactive, and caring approach

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team

  • A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
