Job Description

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive secondary school in Bolton. This role is ideal for someone passionate about helping students with special educational needs (SEN) reach their full potential.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored support to students with SEN, including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
• Work closely with teaching staff to deliver inclusive learning activities.
• Support students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
• Assist with emotional regulation and social development.
• Record and report progress to the SENCO and teaching team.

Requirements

• Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school-based experience preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach.
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
