Are you a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next rewarding role in Bedford?

Whether you are seeking a long-term stable placement, a temporary-to-permanent gateway into a fantastic school, or flexible temporary bookings that fit your lifestyle, we have exciting opportunities starting this September.

We work with a variety of highly supportive Primary, Secondary, and Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools across Bedford. We are looking for individuals who don't just want a job, but who possess a genuine passion for changing the trajectory of a vulnerable child’s education.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Providing tailored 1-to-1 or small group support to pupils with a range of additional needs (including Autism/ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and speech & language difficulties).
  • Implementing tailored learning and behavior plans to ensure children feel safe, included, and motivated.
  • Assisting class teachers in adapting materials to make lessons accessible and engaging.
  • Supporting emotional regulation and sensory needs, creating a calm learning environment.

Who We Are Looking For (Requirements):

To maintain our high standard of support for Bedford's pupils, we are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

  • Proven SEN Experience: You must have a solid background working with children or young people with Special Educational Needs (within a school, care, or specialized youth setting).
  • Unrivaled Passion: An infectious enthusiasm for helping children overcome barriers to learning. You must be resilient, patient, and empathetic.
  • Adaptability: The ability to hit the ground running, get stuck in, and build fast, trusted relationships with pupils.
  • Reliability: Schools and children rely heavily on consistency. We need professionals who are punctual and committed.
  • Safeguarding: An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service is highly preferred (or a willingness to undergo a new check).

What We Offer in Return:

  • Unmatched Flexibility: Choose the path that suits you—Long-term, Temp-to-Perm, or flexible Temp bookings.
  • Competitive Pay: Weekly pay at competitive daily rates, fully transparent.
  • Supportive Communities: Access to welcoming schools in Bedford with outstanding SEN leadership teams.
  • Smooth Onboarding: A dedicated consultant to help guide you through our compliant safer recruitment process quickly.
