SEN Teacher - York

Teaching Personnel are working exclusively with client Schools based in York, who are looking for SEN Teachers to work on a short term and long term supply basis. The students attending these Schools require personalised learning plans, which you will be responsible for planning and tracking their progress. The pupils needs include learning difficulties, autism and social, emotional and behavioural needs, so if you have experience within this field, it would be advantageous.

The Schools are based in the Acomb and Fulford areas of York and in their most recent Ofsted inspections, both Schools received 'Good'.

As the ideal candidate you will need to hold the following qualifications and personality traits:

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • A Degree related to the Education Sector
  • Proven track record of increasing attainment levels via SATs boosters or Phonics sessions
  • Be able to provide a stable 6 year career history and reference details
  • Be open minded and charismatic
  • Have a positive outlook and actively promote positive, hands on learning
