SEN Teacher Required for Outstanding Primary school in Trafford

Our partner school is on Ofsted graded 'outstanding' provision which caters for the Primary age group from EYFS right through to KS2. The young people in this school have various barriers to learning ranging from SLD, PMLD, and ASC. The school are now hoping to employ a Primary Teacher who can support and reflect the school's 'outstanding' ethos to teach a KS2 Autism class from the beginning of next for a term initially, with view to it continuing for the duration of the academic year.
The class where the successful Teacher will be deployed has two permanently employed Teaching Assistants and one HLTA who has worked at school for 7 years. The class has been described as a lovely group of pupils and have the potential to really excel.
This position will involve Teaching children who are at different stages of the Autistic spectrum. Some of the children are non-verbal and therefore require a teacher who can communicate using alternative methods such as PECS and/or Makaton.

* be able to teach at P-level
* have experience of working within a specialist school
