Teaching Personnel are recruiting for the role of SEN Teacher for a school in the Salford area. The school deals with a variety of special educational needs but primarily those with Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties between the ages of 6-14 years. With an OFSTED rating of Good, the successful candidate will be joining an established and proven team with the opportunity to contribute to even higher ratings in the future.

Typical working hours are from 8:30am to 3:30pm.

Pay ranges from GBP100 - GBP130 per day.

Main responsibilities will include:

• Executing tailored lesson plans
• Tailoring the curriculum to specific special educational needs
• Intervening in difficult behavioural situations appropriately

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• Calm and confident demeanour
• Team Teach trained
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for the wellbeing of SEN children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
