What Teaching Personnel is looking for:

A Special Needs Teacher with experience teaching young people wtih a range of complex learning difficulties, based on a Multi-Sensory Primary Curriculum. As the Class Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching within class sizes of 6-10 pupils and will be assisted by 2-4 Teaching Assistants. There will also be the opportunity to deliver 1:1 and small group interventions. There is a number of resource provisions on-site and a supportive Senior Leadership Team within School. 

The Role and Overall Responsibilities:

• Primary SEN Teacher
• Teaching SEN students
• Taking additional training such as Makaton
• Leading a team of at least 2 TAs
• Development and improvement of Primary Teaching resources within the department
• Willingness to participate in the School’s extra-curricular programme
• Potential to earn between GBP110 and GBP140 per day

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in:

• SEN Experience or wants to gain experience within the SEN sector
• Good classroom behavioural management
• Speech and Language Communication Needs knowledge
• Being resilient and flexible
• Have UK QTS 
• Reside in the UK 
• Must have or be willing and able to apply for a Child Only DBS certificate on the update service
