SEMH Teacher Required
Position: KS3/4 Alternative Provision SEND Teacher
Location: Shepherds Bush (W10)
Start Date: Summer Term

Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the individual needs and abilities of students with SEN/SEMH requirements. Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued, respected, and empowered to succeed. Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and external professionals to create comprehensive learning plans and provide holistic support for students. Utilize a variety of teaching strategies, resources, and technologies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities. Monitor student progress, assess learning outcomes, and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Skills: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching in SEN/SEMH settings preferred. Passion for working with children with diverse learning needs and a commitment to inclusive education. Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. Ability to differentiate instruction and adapt teaching approaches to meet the unique needs of each student. Resilience, patience, and a positive attitude towards overcoming challenges.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
