SEN Teacher – Full-Time (Fixed-Term, Potential to Go Permanent)
Location: Slough
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: One-Year Fixed-Term (with potential for a permanent role)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and making a meaningful impact in their learning journey? A well-regarded primary academy in Slough is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join their supportive team from September.

This is an exciting opportunity for a committed educator to take on a full-time role on a one-year fixed-term contract, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

About the Role:

  • Teach and support pupils with a range of SEN needs, providing tailored and inclusive learning experiences.

  • Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCO, and external agencies to ensure every child receives the support they need.

  • Contribute to the wider school community and help foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) with experience or a strong interest in SEN education.

  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to individual needs.

  • A collaborative and proactive approach to working with staff, families, and external professionals.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
