About this job role: This role is based in a secondary school near the centre of Uxbridge and consists of supporting young people aged 11 to 19 who have differing needs. Students in this school require support with profound and severe learning difficulties including ASD. With two sites across the borough of Hillingdon, needs of children and young people are tailored for these environments.

A successful candidate will have QTS in education as well as experience and knowledge of severe and profound disabilities whether this is professional or person experience. Successful candidates may have manual handling training and be comfortable with carrying out personal care on young people (11-19).  In addition to this, candidates for this role will also be empathetic and understand physical, emotional and social challenges which students may face and help them in overcoming this.
