SEN Teacher – Primary or Secondary

Permanent | Full-time | Term time only
Salary: Paid in line with the Teacher Pay Scale (dependent on experience)
Location: Farnborough

The Role

As an SEN Teacher, you’ll be working with small classes of pupils who require highly personalised learning approaches. You will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs

  • Support pupils with a range of complex needs, including communication, learning and emotional needs

  • Create a calm, structured and nurturing learning environment

  • Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists and other professionals

  • Track progress and adapt teaching to support each pupil’s development

  • Build strong, positive relationships that help pupils feel safe, confident and ready to learn

 

The Pupils

You’ll be supporting children and young people with complex needs in a specialist setting designed to meet them where they are. Pupils benefit from small class sizes, consistent routines and a team approach that places their wellbeing and development at the centre of everything we do.

 

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for teachers who are:

  • Qualified teachers (QTS or equivalent)

  • Experienced in SEN, alternative provision or keen to develop their skills in a specialist setting

  • Confident adapting teaching to meet a wide range of needs

  • Calm, patient and resilient, with a positive and flexible approach

  • Strong team players who value collaboration

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
