SEN TEACHER DERBY

If you hold a QTS and have experience within the world of Special Needs, more specifically within schools, I'd love to hear from you.

As an SEN Teacher, it is important that you have a natural aptitude on the behaviour management and interpersonal skills as well as a very enthusiastic and positive manner. You must be able to have a level of resilience, have a good sense of humour, be able to build rapport easily and will ideally have experience working with students who have Autism, Moderate Learning Difficulties, Specific Learning Difficulties and Social/Emotional Mental Health.

The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, committed and flexible and experienced in teaching students with special educational needs, including learning outside of the classroom and teaching life skills. You will want to inspire and motivate students and will not mind students who are sometimes anxious and show challenging behaviour.

We will require an enhanced DBS check and applicable teaching references, including your most recent employer. Relevant academic references will also be considered.
