Teaching Personnel are currently working on behalf of a Special Educational Needs School in the Derbyshire area who are looking for a full time, permanent English Teacher. The school are looking for an empathetic and understanding Teacher who can effectively communicate and differentiate based on the needs of their pupils. Pupils are aged 9-17 years and have a wide range of needs including SEMH, ASC and ADHD.
Highlights of this English teaching position:
- Pay range dependent on experience and pay-scale ranges between £120 - £140 per day
- Applications encouraged from NQT's and experienced teachers at any stage of the pay-scale
- Work alongside an effective and highly committed team within the English department
- The successful English teacher will have been teaching across any key stage and have experience with students with Special Educational Needs.
Ideal candidate will have;
- Strong differentiation skills
- The ability to identify the individual needs of your students
- Good behaviour management skills
- A Bachelors Degree
- A QTS
- Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs
- An empathetic nature
- Effective communication
- The ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities
- English as a subject specialism
- Maths as a subject specialism
- Science as a subject specialism
