KS3 Class Teacher – New Specialist Provision Location: Near Andover, Hampshire, Grateley Village An Exciting Opportunity to Shape a New Specialist ProvisionAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, compassionate and committed KS3 Class Teacher to join a newly established specialist provision at a well established school near Andover, Hampshire. This full-time position will commence in January 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher seeking a fresh challenge in a setting that places relationships, wellbeing and individualised learning at the heart of everything it does. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing this new provision, supporting pupils with autism spectrum condition (ASC) and associated learning differences. About the SchoolSituated in a peaceful, rural location surrounded by Hampshire countryside, the school provides a calm, spacious and well-resourced environment that promotes both learning and emotional wellbeing. This new KS3 class has been created for pupils who are of secondary age but working at an upper primary academic level. The curriculum is tailored to each learner, offering the right balance of support, structure and challenge to promote engagement and progress. Class sizes are small, typically comprising six to eight pupils, supported by experienced teaching assistants and a strong therapeutic and pastoral team. The provision benefits from a close-knit, multidisciplinary approach, ensuring pupils’ academic, social and emotional needs are met in a joined-up and holistic way. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
