Multiple SEN Vacancies – Teachers (QTS) & Teaching Assistants
Bournemouth | Full-Time & Part-Time Options | September 2025 Start

Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young people with special educational needs?

An outstanding specialist school in Bournemouth is looking for SEN Teachers with QTS and SEN Teaching Assistants to join their dedicated team from September 2025, with flexibility for part-time work across both roles.

The school supports students aged 5 to 18 with a wide range of needs, including autism, complex learning difficulties, and SEMH. Working hours are 9:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, term-time only.

 

We Are Looking For

SEN Teachers (QTS)

  • QTS-qualified with experience in SEN or a strong desire to specialise

  • Skilled in planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons

  • Confident managing complex needs and supporting EHCPs

  • Calm, resilient, and committed to inclusive education

 

SEN Teaching Assistants

  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEN

  • Compassionate, patient, and proactive

  • Able to work one-to-one or in small group settings

  • Open to assisting with personal care or mobility if needed

 

Salary & Pay Details

  • SEN Teachers (Full-Time): £31,650 – £43,607 per annum
    (Part-time pay is calculated on a pro-rata basis, ensuring fair and transparent compensation.)

  • SEN Teaching Assistants: £80 – £90 per day

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
