SEN TA required for large all through school in Welling

Are you looking for work as support staff within a school?

Do you live in South East London?

Are you looking to start work immediately?

I am working with a special school in South East London who have two sites - one for primary and one for secondary. They cater mostly for students with Autism but also have classes for students with severe and complex needs. Classes typically have a class teacher and 3 or 4 teaching assistants, with a maximum of 10 students in a class.

This school currently have opportunities for staff to work full time. You must be available between the hours of 08:30 and 16:00 on a daily basis, Monday to Friday.

You must meet the following criteria to work through Teaching Personnel:

  • Have a DBS on the update service, or be willing to complete a new application
  • Excellent references from your two most recent employers
  • Ability to provide personal care for students
  • A proactive attitude to get involved with the students
  • Experience of working with children - either in a school setting or similar
  • Immediate availability

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
