SEN Teaching Assistant
- Assist the class teacher in creating and maintaining a purposeful, orderly and supportive learning environment.
- Promote the inclusion of all pupils, ensuring they have equal opportunities to learn and develop.
- Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school.

Our supportive and welcoming partner school in Mitcham is looking for an additional SEN Teaching Assistant to join the team due to expansion. This challenging but extremely rewarding role will require you to support autistic pupils 1:1, in small groups and as part of a larger class. Class sizes are small and the curriculum is personalised, to significantly enhance the quality each child’s education.
PLEASE NOTE: This role is not immediately permanent; however there is an opportunity of gaining a permanent contract with the school through an introduction with Teaching Personnel.
