A SEN support assistant is needed to work 1:1 with a pupil with an EHCP starting when schools reopen and carrying on until the end of the academic year. There is a possibility for the successful candidate to go onto a permanent school contract.

The successful candidate will have experience working with children with special educational needs and experience working with children or adults Autism is desirable but not essential. The role will consist of working on a 1:1 basis in the class room and also delivering interventions outside the class room as well to raise attainment.

This Bury primary school is smaller than average and is in the heart of the local community. The schooloffers a positive, rich experience for all children, which will be characterised by a broad and balanced curriculum and carried out in a happy, safe and supportive atmosphere.
