Job description

At Teaching Personnel, we are working closely with a primary school in Wythenshawe who are actively seeking a full-time (Mon-Fri, 8.30am-3.30pm) Support Worker. This successful educator will provide support and assistance to pupils that have been diagnosed with different Special Educational Needs, therefore having the experience of working within schools or care settings would be desirable. The school that you will be working in aims to set out a positive ethos for all pupils throughout the school. The successful candidate will be required to start in school at the beginning of next academic year.

Job Duties:

  • Assist in implementing care plans and support strategies.
  • Help pupils in the classroom and outside the classroom on the playground.
  • Monitor and report on the progress and well-being of individuals.
  • Providing one-on-one or small group support to students

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Relevant experience working with children or individuals with SEN.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
