We are searching for an experienced SEN Support Assistant to support a child in Early Years at a School in Durham.
The school are looking for a strong Teaching Assistant, who has experience with challenging behaviour and also a background in understanding Special Education Needs. The role is to to start on Monday 6th January 2020 for at least 1 term (funding dependant). If you would like to work in a school that provides a welcome and secure environment allowing pupils to have the opportunity to succeed and learn and uphold British values in tolerance of different faiths and beliefs, please read on. Pupil achievement is good with an effective system in place to track progress of the school.
Details about this role:
- Full time role
- Temporary for 1 term, could be extended dependant on funding
- Supporting an EYFS pupil on a 1:1 basis who can display challenging behaviour
- Competitive salary, earn up to GBP340 per week
- CPD opportunities offered throughout the year
In order to apply for this role you must –
- Experience supporting pupils who display challenging behaviour
- EYFS Curriculum knowledge is required
- Be available from 6th January 2020
- Be able to provide 2 good references
- Have a DBS registered with the update service
