SEN Support Assistant 

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a Mainstream Primary School in North Liverpool, Bootle, who are searching for an experienced Teaching Assistant to work 1-1 with a pupil in Year 6 with lower level learning abilities. The pupil is far behind with their learning and requires additional support in the classroom. You will also supoprt the pupil in intervention learning and with booster sessions for individual subjects. The pupil also requires assistance with their concentration so you will ideally aim to keep them on track with their learning and progress

You will be working with the pupil during class times, break times and also 1-1 to run interventions and booster sessions

The role is set to start as soon as schools re open (possibly Mon 8th March) until the end of the academic year in July 2021 

The Role:

• Full time, Monday - Friday 
• Start Date: March 2021
• Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm
• GBP10 - GBP11 Per hour
• Mainstream Primary School
• Teaching Assistant
• North Liverpool, Bootle
• Year 6 

The tasks which a 1-1 Learning Support Assistant carries out can include:

• Preparing materials, equipment and lessons
• Assessing the individual learning needs of the pupil
• Evaluating and reporting pupils’ progress to teachers, carers, healthcare professionals and anybody else who helps them
• Supervising activities such as trips locally.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
