A school just outside Bristol is seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Science teacher to join their team. The school caters for children and young people with Autism and Aspergers diognoses, they also have a range of other communication issues so can present challenging behaviour. Due to this you as a Science teacher will have empathy, patience and the understanding of every child’s needs and how to help them. You will assist the school in providing integral provisions that will support, challenge and ensure all children thrive.

As a successful Science teacher you will have QTS status and have experience teaching the Science curriculum at key stages 3 & 4. Any science subject specialism welcome. You will have a passion for or an interest in working with children with Autism and SEMH, positively contribute to the overall programme of learning for each student to ensure their progression. You must devise, implement and review individual education plans alongside other staff. The ability to differentiate is vital in ensuring all children have the opportunity to progress, learn and contribute to the classroom environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
