SEN Post 14-16 Leader of Learning Required

I am currently recruiting for an Interim Leader of Learning Post 14 -16 for an SEN school in NWKent. This is an ambitious school for children and young people aged 2-19 with profound, severe and complex needs, many of whom have a diagnosis of autism. The school have high expectations for their pupils, striving to ensure that they all achieve their maximum potential; celebrating difference and encouraging curiosity and creativity. The school work hard to ensure that pupils individual needs, interests and abilities are met and that they are resilient and able to make positive life choices.

Initially this is an interim position, although depending on the success of the role there is scope for a more permanent position within the school. The school are looking for someone dynamic who can work alongside the Deputy Head Teacher to help with learning programmes and development within the secondary department in addition to class Teaching. The curriculum is designed to encourage emotional, physical, social and creative growth in a supportive and collaborative learning environment.

  • Full-Time Role - School hours 08:30am - 15:30pm
  • Leader of Learning Post 14 - 16
  • School Ages 2 - 19
  • SEN - Profound and multiple learning difficulties
  • Daily Rate - Confirmed at point of interview (this will be dependant on experience, details of position accepted)
