SEN NQT

Job description

Are you soon to become a qualified teacher?

Are you looking for a role in a Special Needs School, given the experiences you may have had during your teacher training?

Look no further!

It is with excitement that I introduce the Teaching Personnel NQT Talent Pool 2020/21 in Lancashire. The Talent Pool offers Final Year Students/Unqualified and Newly Qualified Teachers the opportunity to apply through a Talent Pool in order to be considered for NQT posts in SEN schools beginning in September 2020.

With this in mind, our client school has approached Teaching Personnel, with the NQT Talent Pool in mind, to assist in their recruitment of an NQT from September.

The school caters for pupils across KS3, KS4 and FE with varying SEN inlcluding ASC, PMLD, SLD and complex needs. You will ideally have teaching experience in an SEN school but we appreciate that not all NQTs have had the opportunity to do this therefore please dont let this stop you from applying! However, you must have a genine passion for, and interest in, supporting young people with SEN. Perhaps you have previous experience as a SEN TA or have worked at a specialist summer / holiday camp? Perhaps you have worked in youth work, care or a residential role? Perhaps you have a close personal connection or family member with SEN? We want to hear from you!

The successful applicant will 'stand out from the crowd,' be hard working and willing to learn. You will be highly supported by the school's SLT who are keen to assist you in your first role as a newly qualified teacher!

 This role is full-time.

Given all this information I will be happy to process your application and subject to full vetting and compliance you will then be registered to join the TP NQT Talent Pool 2020/21 and be put forward for the role above! You will be in competition with other budding NQTs in the local area so it is important that you are well prepared and stand out from the crowd!

Sound good? Contact me in branch today or email keeley.cafferkey@teachingpersonnel.com.

Remember, one application to the TP NQT TALENT POOL can effectively open up multiple opportunities from September 2020!

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see teachingpersonnel.com/faqs for details.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
