Teaching Personnel are actively recruiting on behalf of a client primary school in the Gorton area of Manchester (M18). The school are looking for a SEN Mentor to work with in the schools SEN provision on a full time basis after the Easter break. The provision is tailored to suit the needs of a number of children with special educational needs from the EYFS up to KS2. The school are proud of the well resource provision which aims to make learning inclusive to all children. The head teacher of the school is looking for an SEN mentor who will work closely with the children in the provision to encourage learning academically and socially. The ideal candidate will have a range of experience supporting children with special educational needs and will be comfortable with personal care. The members of staff in the provision work to specific IEP's so a candidate who is confident with tailored learning plans and a flexible work ethic would be beneficial.
The school was graded 'GOOD' at it's last OFSTED inspection and was praised for 'nurturing its pupils', specifically in the SEN provision. The head teacher is dedicated to ensuring that all children benefit from the schools 'close nit community feel'.
The school are looking for an enthusiastic practitioner who will enhance the learning experiences of the children in the provision. The school would benefit from a Teaching Assistant who is confident expressing new ideas whilst working closely with other professionals and the schools SENCO to enhance learning experiences at all times. A candidate with a flexible working attitude and good sense of humour would fit in with this schools dynamic staffing team.

This role will start after the Easter break and will continue into the new academic year. the school are hoping to eventually take the successful candidate on to a school based contract.
