Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint an engaging Maths Teacher for a specialist SEMH school in Cambridgeshire.

This unique education provision requires a passionate teacher, to engage pupils aged 11-16 years in their learning and development. It is highly important that you have the ability to encourage confidence and motivate pupils with additional needs to actively take part in lessons.

The role will involve teaching Maths to GCSE level, planning and preparing lessons and managing behaviour in line with school policies.

The Successful Applicant:

  • Must be a qualified teacher (QTS or Equivalent) with experience of teaching Maths to KS3 and KS4.
  • Should have good knowledge and an interest in Special Educational Needs (SEN), specifically SEMH.
  • Should have experience of working with students with SEN, SEMH or ADHD and complex needs.
  • Will be confident with behaviour management.
  • Can start work ASAP or in September 2019 on a full-time or part-time basis.
