Teaching Personnel is recruiting Secondary School Art Teachers to teach Art and Design at Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) across a variety of secondary schools. These Art teacher jobs include both short-term supply teaching and long-term Art teaching roles, offering flexibility and opportunities for career progression.
We are seeking a creative, enthusiastic Secondary Art Teacher with a strong classroom demeanour and a passion for delivering high-quality Art and Design education. This role is ideal for a teacher who wants to make a real difference by inspiring creativity, confidence, and artistic skill in young people.
Role Responsibilities – Secondary Art Teacher:

Teach Art and Design at KS3 and KS4 in secondary schools

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, differentiated Art lessons

Maintain excellent classroom management and positive behaviour strategies

Assess, monitor, and support student progress in Art and Design

Encourage creativity, experimentation, and independent artistic expression
Person Specification:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

Experience teaching Art and Design in secondary education

Confident classroom presence with strong behaviour management skills

Passion for Art teaching, creativity, and visual culture

Commitment to raising attainment and supporting student achievement

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
