Teaching Personnel is recruiting Secondary School Art Teachers to teach Art and Design at Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) across a variety of secondary schools. These Art teacher jobs include both short-term supply teaching and long-term Art teaching roles, offering flexibility and opportunities for career progression.

We are seeking a creative, enthusiastic Secondary Art Teacher with a strong classroom demeanour and a passion for delivering high-quality Art and Design education. This role is ideal for a teacher who wants to make a real difference by inspiring creativity, confidence, and artistic skill in young people.

Role Responsibilities – Secondary Art Teacher:

• Teach Art and Design at KS3 and KS4 in secondary schools

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, differentiated Art lessons

• Maintain excellent classroom management and positive behaviour strategies

• Assess, monitor, and support student progress in Art and Design

• Encourage creativity, experimentation, and independent artistic expression

Person Specification:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

• Experience teaching Art and Design in secondary education

• Confident classroom presence with strong behaviour management skills

• Passion for Art teaching, creativity, and visual culture

• Commitment to raising attainment and supporting student achievement
