Teaching Personnel are pleased to be recruiting of for Learning Support Assistants for a school in the Stockport area that caters for pupils aged 13-16 that have Social, Emotional and Mental health needs. The ideal candidate for this role would be:

The school has been recently graded as 'Good' by OFSTED, and was highlighted to be excellent at creating opportunities for their pupils to make good progress through the establishment of a happy and safe environment. This is achieved through the skills of the staff to build relationships with the pupils which improves their confidence and their self esteem. Once this relationship has been built the pupils access work within the classroom that is suited to their personal needs and interests which ultimately prepares them for life outside of school. Outside of the required GCSE English, Maths and Science, pupils also have access to Construction Skills Music (Rubber Soul), Creative Art, Hair & Beauty, Health & Social Care, Travel & Tourism, Cycle Maintenance and Forest School.
