Teaching Personnel are currently seeking to appoint regular supply teaching assistants for a number of their specialist schools across Manchester, Stockport and Tameside.

Schools regularly require emergency day-to-day and short term cover which can fit around your lifestyle. Supply staff that currently work for us may be available between 3 - 5 days a week and be able to go to schools in their area dependant on where the need occurs.

Specialist schools that Teaching Personnel work with can cater for pupils with Autism, Severe Learning Difficulties, Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties or Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (ASC, SLD, PMLD, SEMH).

Ideally, the Teaching Assistant will have previous school experience working with individuals with Special Educational Needs and will have the capability to fit into a school environment.

This position would be suitable for trainee teachers, current university students, retired teaching assistants, individuals who have another job and looking to fill their available days.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
