- Teaching Assistant role in Primary Special Needs School
- 1:1 and small group support of pupils with complex needs and physical difficulties
- Start in September with temporary to permanent roles
An ‘Outstanding’ Special Needs school in Greenford are looking for Teaching Assistants and Learning support Assistants to start in September 2017. The role would be based within the school’s complex needs department supporting pupils with physical, severe and complex learning difficulties. The school caters for primary aged children with complex learning and physical difficulties including the diagnosis of autism.
Do you have experience, qualities or skills in the following?
• Experience and/or interest in supporting children with autism, severe learning difficulties, physical disabilities or challenging behaviour
• Experience working in a Special Need School is highly beneficial but not essential
• Confident in supporting children in their learning
• Knowledge of specific visual aids such as PECS, TEACCH is highly beneficial
• Engaging personality and able to use initiative
