Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant if so read on -
We require Teaching Assistants for several schools!
Key responsibilities -
To ensure that students are focused and engaged in learning whilst in the classroom
To contribute to the personal development of the students engaged in daily physical activity.
To empower students to manage their own behaviour
To assist with the differentiation of lessons to tailor make them for each students individual needs
Duties Include -
To support the learning, attainment and achievement of students at the school
To be able to build positive relationships
To be able to manage challenging situations through a range of de-escalation strategies
To support students learning in the classroom as directed by the teacher
To provide and support additional teaching materials as directed by the teacher
To attend meetings with parent/carers as required
You will need to have excellent communication skills, previous experience of working in a SEN environment in Primary, any of the following qualifications and experience -Team Teach, TEACHH, PECS and Makaton are desirable.
