SEN BEHAVIOUR SPECIALIST Tutor required in Nottingham City Centre!
Are you a Behaviour Specialist Tutor?
Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting experienced and confident Behaviour Specialist Tutor in Nottingham City Centre, to support children with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties to re-engage with their learning and education. The aim is to ensure young people can access learning again, make progress and plan progression for a successful future.
Working as a Behaviour Mentor, you will be expected to have experience supporting students with special educational needs, and challenging behaviour across all Key stages.
Furthermore you need to have:
- Care or support worker background / counselling qualifications/ Mental health/ Secure Units/ Young offenders ( Ideally )
- De-escalation training – Team Teach ( Ideally )
- Time management and ability to build a good relationship with our children
- Willing to take a Full DBS check on the update system ( we can assist in this )
- PGCE and QTS – Not essential however
- Planning and preparation experience to give the best education possible
- Professionalism, commitment to the role and reliability
