SEN Art Teacher

We are currently partnered with an excellent special school based in Muswell Hill who are looking for an experienced Art Teacher to join their ranks for maternity cover, with the possibility of this becoming a permanent position.

The school caters for 7-19 year olds with high-functioning Autism, Aspergers Syndrome, and other language, communication and social dificulties. The focus at this school is on developing the social, emotional and personal skills of each student. This is supported by ensuring that we strengthen their independent living skills and teach them to advocate for themselves, which in turn lead to greater confidence and self-esteem.

The school are currently looking for a qualified Art Teacher who has experience working with students with Autism and speech and l;anguage difficulties to cover the spring and summer terms. They are looking to interview asap so please don't hesitate to apply.

The ideal candidate must:

- Have Qualified Teacher Status

- Have experience working with Autism and Speech and Language difficulties

-Be available full-time

-Have right to work in the UK
